It's personal for us.

CNB Bank is devoted to creating a culture that is diverse, equal, and inclusive.In support of the Bank’s strategic diversity and inclusion efforts, and to ensure that the diverse perspectives of the entire Corporation’s employee team is considered, the Corporation established a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee (the “DE&I Committee”) in 2018. The DE&I Committee, which meets monthly, is comprised of executive sponsors and over 10 employee members including underrepresented minorities, females, and those who identify as LGTBQ+, with the following committee responsibilities and goals:

  • Encourage an inclusive and engaged workforce culture through communications and training
  • Demonstrate sustainability, commitment, and accountability by tracking DE&I efforts bank wide
  • Bring awareness to the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion internally and externally

 

Community Outreach

As a community bank, we believe it’s crucial to support and promote local communities and the special work that is being done to foster the same inclusive culture that we work to bring inside our doors.
 
One community cause that is near and dear to our hearts is the Down Syndrome Association of Roanoke. We are proud to be a supporter of the DSAR.
 
The Down Syndrome Association of Roanoke (DSAR) provides advocacy and recreational activities for individuals with Down syndrome as well as educational opportunities and support for their families, caregivers and the professionals who provide medical, therapeutic, and instructional services.
