Roanoke, VA – Ridge View Bank commemorated the grand opening of its new Roanoke headquarters with contributions to two local non-profits. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Franklin Road SMART Center, the bank presented $5,000 donations to Local Environmental Agriculture Project (LEAP) and LovABLE (the nonprofit born from the spirit of Chris's Coffee & Custard), reinforcing its commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen the region.

“As we open our new headquarters, we’re proud to celebrate by giving back to the area that has welcomed us so warmly,” said Carrie McConnell, President of Ridge View Bank. “LEAP and LovABLE are Roanoke-based organizations that exemplify the values we cherish—sustainability, inclusivity, and regional spirit. We’re honored to support their missions.”

LEAP invests in the Roanoke Valley through sustainable agriculture and food equity programs. By operating farmers markets, neighborhood gardens, and food assistance initiatives, LEAP ensures fresh, nutritious food is accessible to all, regardless of income.

LovABLE is a nonprofit focused on creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Through its programs, LovABLE provides meaningful employment and other positive opportunities for the special needs community.

Representatives from both organizations attended the grand opening celebration. Ridge View Bank’s donation will support LEAP and LovABLE’s efforts to expand their outreach and continue fostering a healthy, empowered, and more connected community.
