May 18, 2022 (Salem, VA) – Ridge View Bank, a division of CNB Bank, held a groundbreaking ceremony on May 18 for its new SMART Center in Salem, Virginia, located at 124 West Main. The 2,631 square-foot Ridge View Bank office sits at the corner of West Main and Chestnut Street and is expected to open in the fall.
“We are very excited about offering our new SMART Center concept to the Salem area,” said Carrie McConnell, President of Ridge View Bank. “We believe customers will benefit from Ridge View Bank’s personal, customer-centered, and advanced technological approach to serving their financial needs.”
The new location will offer Ridge View Bank’s new, state-of-the-art, highly interactive customer SMART Station and Enhanced Teller Machine (ETM) that allows customers to use interactive video with a live teller to perform such transactions as making deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, cashing checks and checking on account balances and loan payoffs. These can also be conveniently conducted before and after regular banking hours.
“Ridge View Bank is already making an impact here in Salem, they are going to do some great things in this community,” said Salem Mayor Renee F. Turk. “Perhaps what is most important is that they’re going to be joining the community of businesses who’ve done some outstanding things here.”
The Salem location is the first new construction location for Ridge View Bank in the Roanoke region. Ridge View Bank’s new corporate office and SMART Center in Roanoke is slated to open in early 2024.
