February (Salem, VA) – Ridge View Bank celebrated the opening of its inaugural SMART Center in Salem, located at 124 West Main Street. The new SMART center serves as the first full-service location for the bank. The location will house five full-time branch personnel and one commercial banker.
“I am incredibly excited to unveil our very first SMART Center,” said Ridge View Bank President, Carrie McConnell. “We can’t wait for the community to experience a new level of banking and the personalized service they can expect from our entire team.”
The new location is home to Ridge View Bank’s first state-of-the-art, interactive SMART Station that allows customers to interact with a live banker to perform such transactions as making deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, and checking on account balances and loan payoffs. These services can also be conveniently conducted before and after traditional banking hours.
“We are thrilled to offer a new approach to community banking for our customers and their businesses. We look forward to helping the Salem community and assisting them with their financial goals,” said Nancy Brubaker, Assistant Vice President and Salem Community Office Manager.
In addition to the Salem office, a second SMART Center location is slated to open at Smith Mountain Lake later in 2023. Ridge View Bank will also break ground on its headquarters, a SMART Center in Roanoke City, in late Spring of 2023 with an anticipated opening date in 2024.
“The unbelievably positive reception from our clients has enabled us to work on constructing multiple locations at once”, said McConnell. “We have big plans for Ridge View and look forward to introducing ourselves to more of the community as we continue to grow.”
The Salem SMART Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers extended drive-up hours Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
