October 19, 2022 (Moneta, VA) – Ridge View Bank celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its new SMART Center in Smith Mountain Lake. The 3,900 square-foot Ridge View Bank office sits at 160 Apron Road, Hardy, in front of the Westlake Towne Center.
“We are excited to expand into the Smith Mountain Lake and Franklin County community,” said Carrie McConnell, President of Ridge View Bank. “Our experienced group will continue to provide an array of financial solutions with the added benefit of customer-centered technology that our SMART Center offers. This location will also house commercial banking and private client solutions teams.”
The new location will offer Ridge View Bank’s innovative, interactive SMART Station that allows customers to interact with a live teller to perform such transactions as making deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and viewing account balances and loan payoffs. These can also be conveniently conducted before and after regular banking hours.

Ridge View Bank recently celebrated its one-year anniversary since receiving regulatory approval in October 2021. The Bank launched last fall as a newly chartered financial institution, created under the umbrella of Pennsylvania-based CNB Bank, but headquartered in Roanoke.
